Privacy Policy

MyFreeMeeting.com ("we", "us") is a free video meeting service. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have.

No accounts

You don't need an account to use MyFreeMeeting.com. We don't ask for your email address, phone number, or real name.

Information we handle

• Rooms. When you create a room, we store the room name you enter and a random room code on our server. Anyone with the invite link can join that room.
• Display names. The name you enter when joining a room is shown to other people in the room. It is kept in our server's memory only while you are connected, and your browser remembers it (in local storage) so you don't have to type it again.
• Video and audio. Calls are peer-to-peer: your camera and microphone streams go directly between participants' browsers and are not sent through or recorded by our server. To set up these connections, your browser contacts a Google STUN server, which sees your IP address.
• Chat messages. Messages are relayed through our server to others in the room and kept in memory so people who join later can see recent messages. They are deleted when everyone has left the room and are never written to disk.
• Files shared in chat. Files you attach to a chat message (up to 100 MB each) are stored on our server so others in the room can download them. Anyone with the room's invite link who is in the room can see and download them. They are deleted when everyone has left the room.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our server receives your IP address and basic browser information when you connect. We may keep error logs for troubleshooting.

Third-party services

We use the following services, which may collect information and set cookies or similar identifiers:

• Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as page views and approximate location. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
• HilltopAds to show ads, only if you accept cookies. HilltopAds and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads. See HilltopAds' privacy policy.
• Google Fonts to load the site's typeface. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address and basic browser information. See Google Fonts privacy information.
• Cloudflare Turnstile to check that people creating rooms are human. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

How we use information

We use the information above only to run the service, keep it secure and free of abuse, understand how it is used, and show ads that keep it free. We don't sell your personal information.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have the right to access or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us to make a request.

Children

MyFreeMeeting.com is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
